Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger I. H1 Italian
link to the challenge this was supposed to be the successor to
A theoretical Tiger used by the Italians during World War II. The markings are of the 1st Tank Platoon. (I don’t know about Italian tank regiments so what I just said may be incorrect) The grey thing on the top is my interpretation of what a mess pot looked like. And since the Mediterranean is pretty hot and the Tiger I’s engine wasn’t very nice maintenance-wise, I put a tarp thing over the engine bay for the heck of it. Enjoy!
Tiger 01 was given to the Italians after 1943 for defense in the Mediterranean. The crew of said tank was planning to name it Italia, but since proper paint was used for the actual Italian tank regiments, they decided to name it ITL. The tank had been knocked out in late ‘43 after killing a M4 Sherman.
