Major improvements made!
Entire model has been overhauled using pictures to make accurate proportions. Areas that previously looked unfinished/unpolished have been fixed.
Flight/handling characteristics are fine-tuned. This aircraft still has zero gyros and handles much better in both airplane and helicopter regimes. The roll/yaw oscillation in airplane mode is negligible. Landing gear has been changed and takes harder landings more gracefully and looks accurate.
Hovering, vertical takeoff and landing:
1. Ensure Group 8 is active
2. Rotate nacelles, setting VTOL slider to approximately:

>
Airplane mode:
1. Group 8 - Deactivate.
**Ensure pitch, roll, and yaw are centered when you deactivate group 8.

I am the 50th upvote
Thanks @Zenithic, that means a lot coming from a naval aviator!
GOOSE 3 IS DOWN, GOOSE 3 IS DOWN!
(Possibly Goose 7, Half Life Opposing Force)
Dude, I never comment on posts, but this is hands down one of the best on SP. Flies really accurately. I added some fly by wire on the rear stab and it’s excellent. I’ve been waiting for ages for a Osprey that was decent. I’m an active duty AV8B pilot who has actually has some Osprey stick time, bravo!
@Panthers4741 thanks for the tip!
@SFNox what is the plane doing that is giving you troubles? If the nacelles are anything other than airplane mode, 8 needs to be active. If it's not, the drag created by the ailerons will roll the aircraft in the opposite direction (adverse yaw, less lift over the slower wing). Just a stab in the dark as to what might be giving you issues.
@MAHADI I know how to but this thing fly very bad
@SFNox well, the controls aren't the same as a plane. this is a tilt-rotor. you have to find out how to fly it properly
@MAHADI This thing flies like a brick, And get pretty boring quickly i dont know..
@SFNox make something as much flawless as possible
who said you need custom screenshots to get featured
I just made one recently, too here
Thank you all for the feedback!! It’s pretty exciting to see a project get good reception. As far as previous builds alta2809, I had an osprey previous to this but didn’t see a way to overwrite it when uploading an updated model. I wanted to make sure only the best one was available so I took some of the previous versions off. Arentrammel, how would you say the controls are specific?
anyone seen the new lego technic V-22
How to get featured
i'm sorry but i only upvoted it for the looks not performance also it is very difficult to take off and the controls have to be very specific
Where did your other builds go? I noticed you're quite the early player
Very cool.
Looks great and flys well too!
well done man
This is beautiful man!
