MACCHI.M67
The macchi.m.67 was an Italian low wing racing seaplane built for the 1929 Schneider trophy race
The race took place at Calshot Spit in the United Kingdom and began on 7 September 1929, with Lieutenants Remo Cadringher and Giovanni Monti flying the two M.67s. Cadringher??'?s M.67 began the race with an impressive burst of speed, but skidded in the first turn as its cockpit filled with blinding, choking smoke and fumes; Cadringher went into a high-speed spin, pulled out of it over land, then completed one lap at an average speed of 457 kilometers (284 mi) per hour before having to land, unable to see the pylons marking the turns due to smoke in the cockpit. Monti completed the first lap at an average speed of 485.5 kilometers (301.7 mi) per hour, but his M.67??'?s radiator burst as he began the second lap; scalded by steam and boiling water entering his cockpit, Monti managed to make an emergency landing and was taken to a hospital.
The M.52R completed the race, taking second place. During the banquet celebrating the end of the race, Balbo said, "We have finished playing our part as sportsmen. Tomorrow our work as competitors will begin," signalling Italy??'? intention to be more competitive in the next Schneider Trophy race, scheduled for 1931.

43.9k PlanesOfOld@Electra10 I'm not angry ot has enough pitch go on my Curtiss it has too little and my supermarine is completely too mutch I read all and take in advice even though I sound angry I realy am not, like I say I don't mind 4 stars they mean the plane is great and usualy has one flaw I posted vid to show u the different way of controlling a twin pontoon seaplane personally I think this has too mutch pitch for my flying style but I'm not you and don't fly like you (Plz ask devs to put pitch trim in game) you are free to tinker with my plane :) you can ajust all of them to how you like I ajust them to how I feel comfortable flying I know all my planes have flaws but they don't to me, hopefully you understand that I create these planes and test them with me flying and I ajust to hiw i fly them :) do u want to be a kind of test pilot (trial experiment) it could be helpful getting the perfect plane :) Ohh and next plane is either an edwardian plane or some kind of 1920s-30s light aircraft :) If you tinker with it make kamcord vid and post it on my announcement post :)9.4 years ago

13.8k TheSoundofLight@PlanesOfOld don't get angry, just admit some of your planes have flaws, like this one doesn't have full pitch, but you have to admit it, but if you get angrier, you can get reported, but really, you make some pretty good builds, and yes I tested it and it dint have full pitch, but once again, please accept that your planes have flaws but they are very well built, and not to get angry over ratings, which leads to getting reported and eventually banned. But don't worry, it's great, and ps, when you do see a not 5 star rating, don't post a video that much, it sometimes leads to more confusion, but I should probably stop talking, I have to check some stuff, but yes, admit some planes have flaws. Thanks for reading if you even did read this9.4 years ago

43.9k PlanesOfOld@Electra10 U sure I tested it with more pitch and it's all over the place this is as good as it gets if u want more pitch try out my supermarine also remember this seaplane is for racing and my god can you do some crazy stunts! This plane would be helpful with a pitch trim but you can still do completely unrealistic turns with rudder a twin pontoon seaplane is piloted differently cause they have pontoons that interfere with the controlls (take em off and it's a good plane!) btw to see what you can do watch this https://www.kamcord.com/v/k7l0fbWdekk Hope this vid helps9.4 years ago

-
43.9k PlanesOfOld@A5mod3us sigh... I made a vidio showing you how to fly it U use more rudder instead of roll to avoid spinning the reason why ppl liked the races is cause the pilots required a certain level of bravery and skill to fly the seaplanes you can do crazy turns in these things9.4 years ago
-
6,057 KevpilotThank you @A5mod3us9.4 years ago
-
25.2k A5mod3us@PlanesOfOld Eh. You can't force someone to change their opinion. I see both of your points, and I think it's best to just agree to disagree.9.4 years ago
