WELCOME

So, I hear you like storm shadows. This ain’t one

History

In the late 2010s the aviation forces of the Vikenden Armed Forces came to a joint agreement that existing air launched stand-off weapons were not going to be capable of conduct operations in a near future engagement, and that a new joint project would be the best path forward. Both services had recently adopted F-24 fighters
And it became apparent that it should be the primary focus for integration of the missile, while the Air Force would agree that integration on its B-127 and B-130 bombers could come at a later date. The Air Force currently had AGM-73 Rapier missile in service, and it was agreed that it would serve as a good design to base the new missile off of. Spartan Defense, a proven arms designer, were assigned to work on the design. The new improved rapier, which was different in almost every way, would enter service in 2023 as the AGM-75 Rapier-C.

Design

The Rapier-C uses a low observable design, allowing it to penetrate deep into enemy controlled areas mostly undetected. It is powered by a single turbojet engine and is carried aloft by two wings that swing out on launch. It can carry a warhead of up to 400kg and propel itself to just shy of Mach 1.

If anyone is having issues with the arms swinging out make sure that the arm rotators are connected to the forward most detacher. connect to the top of the detacher using the top of the rotators. The rotator must also only be connected to the wing and detacher to work.

Additionally I have noticed that moving the internal inferno missile forward will reduce the jerking motion that occurs on ignition.

@Skykid028 They should automatically deploy 2 seconds after launch. if there's an issue check the connections on the wings and the rotators
