The F16HX "Buster Falcon" is a CAS/Air-to-Ground specific modification which replaces the 20mm Vulcan chaingun for a 3 second reload 47mm cannon on the nose firing APFSDS and HEAT-FS rounds that can eliminate basically all ground vehicles if the roof is hit. Its name comes from the sentence Tank Buster and it is still in development.
Development: Started in 2017 as a way to modernize older model that werent converted into F16Fs or F16Cs. It is especulated that it will be deployed in 2025.
Controls: Standard plane controls. AG1 to drop all bombs.
