I am sorry I haven't been able to upload until now, but I had a lot of things that popped up whenever I tried to make this. I finally did, though. This is the flag of the largest country in Africa and the 10th largest in the world, Algeria. Their capital, Algeirs, is the 13th most populous city it Africa, ahead of Kumasi, Ghana, but behind Cape Town, South Africa. Algeria declared independence in 1962 as a result of the Evian Agreements and a referendum. Since then, Algeria has survived a civil war. Algreia only became the largest country in Africa in 2011, after South Sudan broke away from Sudan. Algeria has a very diverse terrain. While an image from above the country may not seem like it, Algeria has ski resorts, beaches, and deserts. The flag's meaning now. The white represents peace, the green as well as the star and crescent both represent Islam, which is the country's main religion.
