The ARC-170 was a large, heavy, and technologically advanced fighter. One of the most common Republic fighters of the Clone Wars, the ARC-170 was commonly launched from Venator-class star destroyers. Its hyperdrive, ample supplies, and wide array of sensors also made it well-suited to carrying out independent missions deep in Separatist territory. It was armed with two large wingtip-mounted laser cannons, two rear-facing laser cannons, and one proton torpedo launcher, which carried up to six torpedoes.
