While the TSR-556 is D-45's take on this W E L L Proven rifle platform, The TSR-Sub90 is a variant of such chambered for 9mm Parabellum.

While the TSR-556 does what it's designed to do exceptionally well, Some may appreciate smaller pistol rounds for a number of reasons: lower recoil, more affordable, less chance for overpen etc.
And that's what the TSR-Sub90 is for: a PCC Variant of the 556 Type-1.
The TSR-Sub90 is mainly built for those who want tge ergonomics a rifle, but don't nessesarily need the power of 5.56/.223.
