Handley Page HP.137 Jetstream Regional Challenge
Heres my entry to SgtKs rather nice challenge. I though I’d go for the genesis of the highly successful Jetstream series and here she is. Built for the highly lucrative feeder market in the US as Handley Page could ill afford to compete with the big two British aircraft companies of the time. Suitably she is completed in US Airways “Express” livery. Built roughly to scale (and hopefully to proportion) and with what I deem realistic performance she is quite fun to potter around in. Below 300mph avoid excessive pitch as it tends to corkscrew suddenly - fly like a normal regional airline and there should be no problems!
This was the awesome company Handley Page’s last gift to the world and still lives on successfully as the BAC Jetstream Aircraft of which I, like many of you no doubt, have had the pleasure of being bounced in the thick of the bad weather in - which always feels more like ‘flying’ than being sat on a bus!
I would have done the lettering but I’ve arsed around too long on this with what little time I have spare so apologies. There’s a slight list to starboard I tried evening out with some ballast but she wouldn’t have any of it I’m afraid - judging by the mirroring function on SP leaving things flush on one side and not flush on the other has something to do with it maybe.I hope you guys like going for a little bimble in her (not too far obviously) and I look forward to the other entries to this challenge!

@Tang0five No problem
You and me both, old chap... @Tang0five
Thank you my good man! @GhostHTX I keep telling myself I’ll start enjoying these more by spending more time flying them, but I always get distracted by the next thing I want to build.
Uh....yeah.....that was intentional....@Tazziedevil04 thanks buddy!
That would be my abortive attempt to upload my bush flyer. Lost the link to the competition when I uploaded, y’see... Fixed now, though. This is a lovely little bus, by the way. @Tang0five
Thanks very much @GhostHTX glad to see you around again! I saw something of yours on jet stream but you must have taken it down before I could check it out as it wouldn’t let me open it.
I love how u made it stall when u pull back to hard
