Auto Credit Based on Pilotmario's M28 Anti-Material Rifle
VTOL controls bipod. An improved variant of the M28 rifle, it features several improvements over the previous rifle. The most noticeable upgrade is the addition of a single-stack 5-round detachable box magazine, in order to facilitate rapid engagement of targets. In addition, a manual recocker was added in order to restrike a dud primer if necessary. Otherwise, the rifle was unchanged, and many components, including the bolt, is interchangeable with the M28.

@GoldenEagle This is a 12.7mm anti-material rifle, designed to kill lightly-armored or unarmored targets like scout cars, jeeps, parked aircraft, and radar dishes, as well as explosive ordnance disposal.
A man with this rifle can stop a convoy with one shot. Mostly by shooting the lead truck in the engine block with AP rounds, or loading explosive ammunition and shooting the track or road wheel of a tank, disabling it and forcing the crew to repair said track. This takes awhile.
We've dropped Awwami helicopters out of the sky with this gun because lol tail rotors and squash-plates. It's not as accurate as actual sniper rifles, but who needs 1-bullet wide groups when your target is something the size of a helicopter or automotive engine block?
@Pilotmario lol XD i was wearing dem Weak but Cool NCR ranger armor i ...ahem ...,...well dat armor i borrowed from ahem that sleeping ranger over there sleeping in A red swimming pool hehe ....dat armor gave me such courage but the ranger armor is weak anyway

@Pilotmario lol yea but i bought another one for boone and stayed miles away XD not really when i saw "miles away" just a huge distance and we managed to kill 3 deathclaws...the third one came close but ED-E sacrificed itself XD

Even with power armor, I wouldn't take this to a fight with deathclaws.
Remembers me by Fallout New vegas , I used the same exact rifle with incendiary Bullets XD

It the sniper can hit said components. Such is more difficult than using a 12.7mm machine gun due to the much lower rate of fire. @Gmanndo1000

Depends where you hit. An engine, pilot, or rotor strike would bring it down. Fuel tank hit may set it afire, depending on ammunition. @Gmanndo1000
What would happen if a wespe got hit by this?
Depends on the ammunition and where it hits. M31A1 Ball (Match-Grade) at 1000m striking the torso would probably blast them into two due to the bullet's energy. @TemDesBur

Awwam forces refer to the older cousin, the M28, as the "Engine Stopper" due to its ability to destroy an engine block of a truck.
Looks like an effective weapon.
