The Polikarpov Po-2 (also U-2, for its initial uchebnyy, 'training', role as a flight instruction aircraft) served as an all-weather multirole Soviet biplane, nicknamed Kukuruznik (Russian: ??????????, NATO reporting name "Mule"). The reliable, uncomplicated design of the Po-2 made it an ideal trainer aircraft, as well as doubling as a low-cost ground attack, aerial reconnaissance, psychological warfare and liaison aircraft during war, proving to be one of the most versatile light combat types to be built in the Soviet Union. As of 1978 it remained in production for a longer period of time than any other Soviet-era aircraft.

My Entry For @MAHADI's WWII CHALLENGE
@MAINE yea, i just reviewed the start-up checklist and found 2 mistakes actually, 1st is what you already mentioned (the Magneto) and 2nd is that u have to throttle up to 5% before starter, I'll make sure to update XML asap

I can only get about 50 rpm on startup so the engine won't start. I followed the instructions (of which, you forgot to mention magneto's. I know they need to be on) She's sucking down gas but, just won't run up to 125 rpm as you stated.
Though, if I start in a final approach I can nose dive to get it up to speed to get the engine started. She flies smooth.

@MAHADI i generally use phone where i can put small amount of counter rudder, but you can do that in PC by using rudder button for 0.1 second multiple times, ailerons can help too
@MrCOPTY ik it's realistic but is it really this severe? i cannot takeoff from the runway, which is why the final score is pending
i would ask for takeoff instructions if it's realistic because the spin on the runway is barely controllable
@MAHADI about the instability, it don't have rear wheel, also it's Propeller (you'll see similar effects in a real one too)
ik rotary engines push the planes sideways
but it's too hard to control here
i couldn't take-off easily at all, the plane kept spinning in the starting place
am i missing something here or is that intentional?
otherwise it flies really well although getting higher is tough
