Read All Notes, VTOL Only

Controls:

AG1: Flight Engine
AG2: Hover Engine
AG3: Arm Weapons
AG4: Cargo Door
AG8: Disable RCN

Take Off: Activate AG2 and bring the craft to a hover above ground. Once off the ground activate AG1. Allow the craft to pick up speed, about 150 knots, and then disengage AG2. The craft may have a slight jerk, but don't worry, the stabilizer fins will kick in and keep the craft under control.

Landing: While coming in for a landing line the craft up with the landing pad. Assuming that AG1 is still active, begin slowing the craft, activate AG2, and disengage AG1. To assist in stopping the craft lower the landing gear. Safe landing speeds are under 20 knots, ideally closer to 0. As you descend, keep an eye on your VERTICAL SPEED indicator on your dash. Try to keep the arrow in the white section of the gauge. The landing gear is designed to take hard hits, but it's best to avoid it if possible.

Overview:

Are you looking for a small conveniently sized dropship to help you transport goods and people from island to island? Want something more futuristic, with lots of lights, buttons, and shiny surfaces? Do I have the craft for you. From the Avenel factory production lines, the EASC-36 Light Shuttle. Complete with a holographic HUD, providing important feedback to help navigate the canyons of Krakabloa. A self defense suite as you dodge missiles, and familiarize yourself with the locals of Snowstone. Lets not forget the chrome accents and lighting of course, very necessary for moving cargo from one point to another. Nothing says futuristic like a delivery service. Start flying today!

Notes:
This build was more for me testing out all the cool new things I'm incorporating with my new projects, plus I wanted a simple cargo shuttle so I can RP as a Uber driver in Simple Planes. Jokes aside, it didn't turn out so simple. I wanted to make it seem like you can imagine walking to this thing, thinking it was plausibly realistic. In true me fashion, I've added a lot of extra buttons and pylons, that way you can make this craft your own. It's a cargo ship so there is only so much I expect it to do, especially in a dogfight, but I leave the rest up to you.

It's inspiration was drawn mostly from the Lakon Spaceways Chieftain, and a little bit from ST-70 Patrol Craft, affectionately known as the Razor Crest. I do apologize, as my goal is to build small, more compact models, this thing was started way before that, and was more to see what the new update has to offer. I can say, the new update, without a doubt probably the best Junroo has added to the game. So for now, I guess I'll stop complaining having in game tank treads.

As an update with me, I have a lot of builds in progress. Next week, I'm releasing an big update to the Krait model, as well as a Super Light Eagle version for the mobile community. Currently the SL Eagle is around 450 parts, with cockpit interior, and will be released mid next week. I have more ED ships in the works, some Star Wars, and even ones from Eve. Yes, I build space ships in Simple Planes and not Simple Rockets, go figures.

This looks really good! It reminds me of the Serenity from Firefly.

Thanks, this thing was used to help me figure out how I was supposed to make a ST-70 fly, but it kind of turned into it's own ship. Hope you enjoy it.

@CrimsonOnigiri Thanks, original designs are usually hard to make popular, especially when you don't have that platinum badge, but long as the people who download enjoy it, that for me is a success. Plus, the stuff and FT code that went into this thing will find itself in future designs.
