Historically, Tiger I, which should be exported to Japan, participated in Operation Normandy and was destroyed. However, when you creating realistic Japanese Tiger tanks, the camouflage is RGB118.113.81(It's a hay-like color) and the national flag is drawn on the left and right of the turret. It is also recommended to draw a hiragana character instead of the national flag.
@BMilan Agreed
@TheMitsuboshiBoi yep
@TheMitsuboshiBoi I don't know why is it so important for you to have your build listed in a gold player's list. it doesn't mean anything if someone is silver, or gold, or plat or whatever, at least in my opinion. I think the goal in Simpleplanes should be to enjoy building stuff, and then sharing your builds with others so they can enjoy them too. And not trying to have a higher point. And if someone has more points, that doesn't mean they are any better. I've seen plenty of people on the site with less points than me but they were way more talented.
But if it means so much to you, I'll put the link of your build into the variants list then. ;)
@BMilan
So will you put in it youre versions list?
Id like to see that in a gold players list
I just got to silver/chrome so im very
Please with myself i like making vairants
For others who dont think of there Hidden operater's history in any war or year
@metallicplanes i have solved youre problem metallic
@BMilan oh
Sorry history mistake
Last time I checked that Tiger was taken back from the Japanese before ever leaving due to the Normandy landings. And apparently the P-47 can't carry torpedoes.
@TheMitsuboshiBoi I am happy someone thought about this
@TheMitsuboshiBoi Nice build but there are a few errors with the background information:
The tank you built never existed in such form. Yes Germans did trade a Tiger to Japan but it wasn't painted like this. Despite that in WoT and and at many other places, they like to represent it as a green tank with Japanese flags on it (which are modern Japanese flags, the imperial Japanese flag is not like this) it was simply painted in basic factory paint (dunkelgrau or dunkelgelb, but I didn't find info about this)
also, this Tiger was NOT destroyed while enroute to Japan. The thing is, the Japs started building the I-400 type submarines which would be big enough to deliver the Tiger (this Tiger was waiting in Bordeaux till then) but they didn't finish it in time and as the allies landed in Normandy in 1944, the Germans decided to use everything they can, so they requisitioned and assigned the Tiger to SS Pz.Abt. 101 (SS Tank Batalion 101.) and it was most likely destroyed on the front in Normandy.
Another thing: P-47s cannot carry torpedoes so it's very unlikely for anything to be torpedoed by them ;)
Great work tho :)
