De Havilland D.H.88 'Comet' Racer (Modified)

31.3k Mostly  7.3 years ago

-THIS PLANE IS A LOW-DETAIL REMAKE BASED OFF THE REAL AIRCRAFT-
This is by far my favorite racing plane I ever made. This is the 1934 De Havilland DH.88 Comet Racer. It is fast, easy to control, but it does take a little getting used to. The turning mechanic on this plane is different. This plane has low acceleration and a high top speed. It’s a better distance racer than a speed racer (BTW the gears do retract I was just too lazy to put in detail :I)

PREVIOUS STATISTICS: (Based off simpleplanes physics)
-290 mph top speed
-10K+ lbs
-1K+ gallons
-4216 drag points
-Crew: 2
-Quick propeller overspeed (I’m not joking)

CURRENT STATISTICS: (With M.W. Modifications)
-443 mph top speed
-6K+ lbs
-1.9M+ gallons
-3527 drag points
-Crew: 2
-Auto correction for flaps
-Pitch assist
-Emergency crash locks
-More horsepower
-more propeller blades
-increased turning performance
-Trim flaps for autopilot

Feel free to modify, reupload, and repaint as you please. Just remember to give credit. And don’t forget to have fun!
