Overwatch Slipstream
at last! the long built and waited Slipstream! this wouldve taken me 1 and a half month to do if it werent for 3 fantastic gentlemen who helped me with both performance and aesthetics.
i need to firstly thank the none other @Seeras for his help on the engines making the plane perform as it should've lore-wise!
secondly @CaesiciusPlanes for helping me resize the huge overwatch logo down to size where it would help significantly for the jet to look alive!
and Third, one of the source of awesome sub assemblies @Deusalgor for his blue Vtol nozzle and cockpit! much appreciated good sir.
now down to our report from the pilot we recovered from the accident that occured on the slipstream, followed by the aircrafts instructions and development.
The Slipstream was a next-generation teleporting fighter designed by Overwatch. Lena Oxton was assigned to test a prototype of the fighter. But during its first flight, the aircraft's teleportation matrix malfunctioned, and it disappeared. Oxton was recovered later, but had been inflicted with chronal disassociation as a result.
Instructions :
-throttle up to 100% for take off
-lift the fighter 100ft above the ground and slide the vtol up halfway until you reach 100mph and then activate the main engine using act 3[Red light] and adjust downwards trim
-Turn off the Vtol after firing the main engines using act 8 [Blue light]
-Fire off the afterburner using act 2 [yellow light] and adjust upwards trim.
*The fighter reaches 1300-1400mph at sea level and a staggering mach 3.6 (2800mph) at 30-50.000ft when all engines are activated.
-G for landing gears
-act 4 for navigation lights
-turning sharp low altitudes at 1300mph may cause the plane to explode
Fast landing : the Slipstream has an ability to slow down from mach 2 to 200mph under 10 seconds, to do this from high speeds (1500mph+) switch off afterburners and main engines, slide down full and turn on the plasma powered vtol engine, slide the vtol back in place at 200mph and adjust throttle according to fuel status.
Report :
*audio log plays* "So, you want to hear my story.
It all started a few years ago. Overwatch was looking for a hotshot pilot to test their next-generation teleporting fighter : The Slipstream. Enter: Lena Oxton, call sign: “Tracer” *giggles* That’s me! It was the sort of opportunity I had trained for my whole life. But on my first flight, the teleportion matrix malfunctioned and I disappeared. no one know where i was gone.. or when?... I was missing for months, and by the time overwatch found me, I was little more than a ghost, the doctors called my condition "chronal disassociation" i keep dissapearing for days at time, and even when i was there, i couldn't touch anything. but my friend Winston would not give up, he kept working at it, until he invented the chronal harness that keeps me anchored to the present, and I was myself again!" *audio log cuts*
although she was found, the slipstream was not. the teleportation matrix was not capable of moving the fighter along with its pilot to the same destination, so the development was held. Overwatch converted the teleporting fighter to a high speed air/ground superiority fighter where it first saw combat in Europe outside of stuttgart, Germany where the German army and the Crusaders held out to fought off the invading omnics.
Hope you all enjoy the history, Tracers log, and Of course the fighter itself which is firstly introduced here since overwatch's release. have a good day people! Cheers loves!

kinda hard to control
how where you able to make this?
It just yaws endlessly once you get in the air and promptly crashes. Maybe it needs an update
Loved it
This would be even cooler if it was in the colours of the slipstream skin for tracer!
Also this is a great way to tell people of her origin as it's it well known
and I'm a big fan of overwatch...

I saw you mention this on a forum post. This thing is pretty awesome.

@TheMajesticMri have no idea why there's no trim slide, but trim adjusts trim, nothin else :l most of my build requires trim adjustments but none of them seem to have the trim tab, but meh lol it does its job well.
Didn't notice this originally but there isn't a trim slider. Which parts did you add trim to?
