AQ-10 Scout Racer Version 1.6
DISCLAIMER
Please read all of this! If you do not please do not blame me if the plane acts weird, not my fault you did not read the instructions
Description
The AQ-10 Scout Racer is a prop plane with high maneuverability, allowing missile evasion with ease, and equipped with automatic systems to help with several aspects of flight. It can pull 60G and flies at Mach 1 with landing gears up (yes I know it’s based off the tutorial plane, all I did was supercharge the engines. But it still works the way it says it does). It excels in recon missions and missile and gunfire evasion, and air races.
Features
- Different operation control modes that alter the way the flight controls work to assist pilots
- A devastating gun made by @Galeo that has aimbot
- Insane maneuverability
- Small but powerful
- Reverse thrust used as air brake (normally)
Using reverse thrust as an air brake eliminates the > braking power reducing as you slow down, allowing > more constant speed control.
- Fully functional as a seaplane (not submarine)
Specs that don’t show up on the bottom of the page
- G limit: 60 to -60
Max speed: 650-660 knots
The engines will get you to about 650 knots, but the OFFICIAL max is 660 knots
WARNING
Do not exceed 660 knots or the reverse thrust brakes will not work (the emergency air brake will still work to slow down the plane, you will have to use it to slow down if you exceed 660 knots)
Land speed: 90-120 knots
Please touch down softly when landing so the propellers do not break as they are dangerously close to the ground when the plane is grounded.
How to fly
Flight Controls
- All controls normal (except for pitch on ground, where pulling up controls reverse thrust while taxiing. For more info see Control Modes)
Activation Groups
- AG1: Emergency air brake / Single Engine Mode
- AG2: Speed Autopilot
The speed autopilot is currently dysfunctional, please do not use it unless you are trying to fix it for me. If you fix it I will give credit
- AG8: Propeller pitch control (fully automated except for when you turn it off to launch)
Control Modes
Note that the aircraft “computer” automatically switches to the appropriate control mode during operation (except for Launch and Single Engine mode, as these modes are manually controlled)
Taxi Mode
Conditions
Grounded and Ground Speed < 40kts and Throttle < 50%
Control changes
- Engine power limited to 20% of max (equivalent to 10% in taxi mode due to throttle having to be less than 50% to enter the mode)
- No reverse thrust on brake input
- Pitch up input (Key S on computer, right stick down on mobile) is reverse thrust, limited to 10% max power
Takeoff speedup mode
Conditions
Grounded and Throttle > 0.5
Control changes
- Forward engine throttle limited to 12.5% max power, and brake limited to 25% max power
- Pitch control limited to 50% effectiveness for more stable control
Post-touchdown mode
Conditions
Grounded and Ground Speed >= 40kts and Throttle = 0%
Control Changes
- Brake power limited to 25% max power
Takeoff / Landing Mode
Conditions
In flight, landing gear down
Control changes
- Engine throttle (forward and reverse) limited to 12.5% max power
Launch mode
When this mode is active, no other mode can be selected, as this mode is manually controlled by the pilot.
Conditions
AG8 off
Control changes
- Engine throttle not limited, max power available
- Propeller pitch set to 0, to prepare launch
Single Engine Mode
When this mode is active, no other mode can be selected, as this mode is manually controlled by the pilot.
Conditions
AG1 on
Control changes
- Reverse thrust disabled entirely
- Throttle responds slowly to changes to prevent flat spin
- Airbrake on
Newest Improvements
- Now introducing different flight modes!
- Added better speed control in the air, allowing two new maneuvers I call the “safe stall recovery” and “express turnaround”
- Improved the gun that @Galeo made which is on this

I FINALLY FINISHED THE DESCRIPTION!!!!
Well at least the parts about how to fly the plane… I might add a behind-the-scenes section that talks about the principles and Funky Trees that makes this lethal weapon of a plane work
Speaking of which, what should I do with this plane? I can do a lot with it in SP2. I’m thinking use the gun to redact people in multiplayer lol
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 lol 😅 thank goodness
@mrxml I wasn’t sure so I didn’t cry
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 yah I’m alive I hope you didn’t think I was dead and cried about it
HES ALIVE
