Designed for the "Going the distance" challenge. Wait for the launcher to level out, then crank the throttle to 100 and hit 1. If you do nothing after that point you should make it just over 16,000 feet traveled. My personal record is just over 30,000 with this build by controlling the ascent/descent. Climbing high initially seems to work best. I'd love to hear what tweaks get more distance out of it, or see some other distance builds!

give it a try
@Badarzewska I could've gone further but a island was in the way.
@Badarzewska I did a arc, i'd say I went a 80 degree up but I modified the engine a bit.
@Stellarlabs Holy cow, what kind of approach did you take? Any modifications?
I got 40,730 ft
25,474 ft. this works great.
@RockyClayson I made one that works but is quite ugly, I've been meaning to refine it, but I'll post it up when I do!
Could you possible make a craft for "Max Ground Speed"? Ive been trying to search for a craft and also make one, I cant do it.
@SemedianIndustries Certainly not with the the fuel constrictions given in the challenge! Perhaps I misunderstood your point?
this is nice, but it can't fly for ever
@GREYWOLF4802 Glad you like it! Figured I'd borrow some extra thrust where I could ;)
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On my first try I managed 24,575 feet, this is great. Would never have thought of this myself.
