@TMach5 If only there was more inter-service cooperation back then! Ah well, at least the Navy was good enough to get McDonnell to build the Phantom, the Airforce certainly benefitted from that. Nice build! I really like that you included the humpback, and how it automatically retracts with the landing gear.
My idea was to look in the direction of movement to check what's beneath the plane. My first three attempts were a disaster.
