The story of ye ole pub is remarkable. Half of the crew had been shot or killed, the nose glass had been shot out, the tail section was gone, and had some engine problems. A german pilot was one kill away for a metal, but saw the badly damaged plane and wanted it to land but the b-17 pilot shook his head no. The german got behind it and let it live. What's even crazier is they found each other in the 1990s and became friends til their deaths. Amazing story

It’s a story from the Israeli Air Force. During one training exercise one of the “enemy” jets crashed into an F 15, tore off the wing, and the F 15 pilot thought the wing had merely been hit. I’m not from Israel, but I saw a Video about it on YouTube. @Notnoob1000
