Messerschmitt Me-262 HG-III H-0

Notes:
-The best view is from camera 1
-Poor pitch (but this would have been one of the early jets)

History: At the beginning of 1945, Germany desperately needed an aircraft that could counter the relentless artillery strikes on German airfields and factories. Messerschmitt began revising their Me-262 aircraft and eventually ended up drawing three future successors (only the first was ever built and flown). First, the HG-I was designed, but it was filled with flaws. After that was the HG-II, which improved upon the HG-I, but the Luftwaffe was not satisfied. Then, there was the final design, the HG-III. There were two concepts of the HG-III. The first was simply called the HG-III, and the second was the HG-III H-0. The H-0 version was meant for extremely high speeds and altitudes. It sported eight MK.108 30mm cannons, four in the nose and four in a pod underneath the aircraft. The pilot had an ejector seat for dire situations, and this version was more improved than the HG-II's seat (it featured a small booster to get the seat as far away as possible). Only one of the HG projects, the HG-I, ever left the paper. Another design involving the Me-262 was the HG-III H-1, which featured the four MK.108 30mm cannons in the pods but sported a single 50mm autocannon in the nose, similar to the Me-262 A-1/U4, but with a more aerodynamic housing.
