  • Pull the VTOL slider or cockpit handle down to accelerate, and push the VTOL slider or cockpit handle up to brake.
  • An amber light or notch setting HB represents holding brake mode.
  • A red light or notch setting EB represents the activation of the emergency brake.
  • The VTOL slider and cockpit handle can be used interchangeably. The input method that was last modified will be used. (I recalled how to make it again)

DISTANCE SENSOR

The distance of the front of the first car to the selected target is displayed on the auxiliary display. Spawn a suitable AI aircraft at a station to act as a stopping marker.

The following AI aircraft were made to test this feature. Spawning tested on SP 1.12.203 and SPR 1.0 (9/23/2021) on low and high physics quality.

DEV NOTES

Off-brand Series 103. The design is based on the JR East Training Center train set. However, similar colors are found on some rural lines.

A four-digit numbering system is used to prevent conflicts with JR's system, which also seems to be running out of numbers.
Edit: The NR naming system is changed to use the N prefix.

The last car does not have instruments, but the rest of the interior is still there, which allows external screenshots to be taken without visual differences.

Somehow, this is my third train build. I might stay here as long as funky trains don't become common.

INFORMATION

The N301 series is a commuter EMU operated by the government-owned organization Nippon Railways.

The predecessor of Nippon Railways had developed an undercarriage for an upcoming EMU, but this project was cancelled following the sudden beginning of the Global War. After the war, the newly formed organization designed a replacement body for this chassis. The new body is rugged, cheap, and easy to maintain, and visually references a bygone era.

N301-0 series

A "high performance" trainset specialized for urban local services. Nippon Railways introduced this train model after increasing the service capacity in metropolitan areas under their control. It has a rated maximum speed of 95 km/h and a maximum activation acceleration of 3.0 km/h/s.

Starting from 2050, series N301-0 trains in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area were refurbished with new motors, increasing the starting acceleration to 3.3 km/h/s.

N301-1000 series

This variant is designed for longer distance services. By using more powerful motors and a different gear ratio, the maximum speed has been raised to 110 km/h, and the handling of steep inclines was improved. This train can be found in lines servicing rural areas and newer towns.

The N351 series is the express version of the N301 series. It is identical to the N301-1000 series, except with minor modifications to the undercarriage and interior.

Formation (15 cars):
Can be constructed by connecting an 11-car and a 4-car formation in series.

    Australians all let us rejoice
For we are young and free
We've golden soil and wealth for toil
Our home is girt by sea
Our land abounds in nature's gifts
    Of beauty, rich and rare
In history's page let every stage
    Advance Australia fair
In joyful strains then let us sing
    Advance Australia fair
    Beneath our radiant Southern Cross
We'll toil with hearts and hands
To make this Commonwealth of ours
    Renowned of all the lands
For those who've across the seas
    We've boundless plains to share
With courage let us all combine
    To advance Australia fair
In joyful strains then let us sing
    Advance Australia fair!!!

@ShirakamiShimada yep it's based on a special 103 train set
According to the website i'm using, Sa only means unpowered/trailer car.
I think pantographs tend to be on motorized cars but in theory they could be on any car
