The Lockheed U-2 is a high altitude american reconnissance aircraft. It was built for the Cold War and first came in to use in 1956. These planes were used in many places like, Cuba, the Soviet Union, Iraq, Afganistan, and many other places. The U-2 has also been used for sensor research, satelite calibration, scientific research, and communication purposes. Even though this plane could fly up to 70,000 ft in the air above radar, 2 were shot down by enemy SAM missiles. This convinced the USAF to get better stealth planes and lead to the development of the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird.

An interesting aircraft, but the controls are very difficult and the fuel tanks are small. But good job :)
Pretty cool for a first plane!
