RJ Hawker Tornado II 5.1
Introduction
Happy Christmas everyone.
The ultimate evolution of the Hawker Hurricane, through the Typhoon and Tempest and now into the Tornado. Obvious variation from the Typhoon includes;
o Bent Wing = bigger props
o Counter rotating props = ability to use more power from upgraded Napier Sabre engine (H shaped) which needed extra exhaust ports
o Bigger fin = more lateral stability
o Rounder and wider fuselage = easier to maintain / carry necessary equipment / cable runs etc.
Simpleplanes stuff
o Sequenced and fully fitting undercarriage including the bits that are part of the leading edge of the wing
o Full camo scheme
o Sliding canopy
o Full cockpit
o Detailed flaps
o Bendy letters and roundels (non of this clagged on the side stuff)
o 14 custom ww2 rockets
o Ventral air inlet exhaust opens under 150mph
Controls
AG1 = start the engine
AG2 = shut the canopy
VTOL dn = flaps
LG = landing Gear
Rockets on ground attack menu
Information
This build is intentionally built to feel heavy on elevator to start with, it takes a decent run for takeoff due to weapon loads (14 rockets and cannon ammo isnt light), once you offload the ordinance and gain speed it is quite manoeverable.
