Personal Remarks

Well, I put Lufthansa's old livery on the A340-600, I couldn't walk away without doing the new one too! Not much to say about the plane, but the curvature of the rear dark blue portion was satisfying.
FYI, my friend's mother was flying on this plane from this airline when the flight had to make a stopover at Phuket, encountered some issues on-ground and was delayed by several hours.
Anyway, go crash that plane!

About the Lufthansa A340-300

The Airbus A340 is one of the two widebodies developed in the 1980s by Airbus to replace their A300 series. It was developed alongside its smaller sibling, the A330. The A340-300 first flew on 25 Oct 1991 and entered service with the slightly smaller -200.
The -300 has had more deliveries than all other A340 variants combined, racking up 218 out of 377 total A340 deliveries. As of July 2018, 96 A340-300s were still flying.

Flying with Lufthansa

Lufthansa is the launch (alongside Air France) and largest operator of the A340-300, with 17 still in service. During the Covid-19 period in 2020, when other airlines started to quickly retire/store their quadjets, Lufthansa continued flying 13, then all, of its -300s, giving them a "second life".
The -300 utilises a 3-class seat configuration, with business, premium economy and economy class seats.
