Auto Credit Based on BMilan's Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger I. "131"

This is a bergepanzer Tiger made from BMilan’s Tiger 131.Bergepanzer, meaning recovery/salvage armour[ed vehicle] was a modification made usually to a tank. It was (obviously) used to recover broken vehicles and move parts around.

VTOL for throttle
Roll for turret
Yaw for left/right

    It’s very interesting is all I mean, I didn’t know that they modified tanks for salvage. Very nice build, however. Although I would remove the ‘131’ off the side just because the Tiger 131 was a battle tank, and was never modified for salvage.

    @ChromeGamer25 There were Bergepanzers based on Panzer III and Panzer IV chassis too, Bergetiger wasn't the only field recovery vehicle the germans had. They built recovery vehicles on any chassis they found, these vehicles were't officially produced, they were normal tanks which were modified to be recovery vehicles by field engineers.
    There were many types of Bergepanzers:
    Bergepanzer III
    Bergepanzer IV
    Bergepanzer 38(t)
    Bergepanzer V Bergepanther
    Bergepanzer VI Bergetiger
    Bergepanzer T-34 (a bergepanzer based on a captured T-34)

    For the Bergetiger, it was almost certainly the result of a field rework. No official german document ever mentions the Bergetiger and only one was ever found (the one on the picture above, it was found abandoned in italy by the americans, the germans probably left it behind due to engine failure)

    @ChromeGamer25 I haven't got a clue. Perhaps because a Tiger was bigger?

    Then what puzzles me is why a Tiger? Those things werent exactly pouring off the assembly line, a Panzer III or IV would be much more convenient wouldn't it?@StallFlight

    @ChromeGamer25 This thing of course wouldn't go out on its own.
    It's based on a Tiger because it's simply more convenient than putting a whole other vehicle into production.

    Seems odd that they would choose to remove the gun, since this looks like something you'd use to recover a vehicle under fire.
