Background |
As the war between Telluria and The Imperium ignites, the first handful of Skirmishes at the border showed how time has made the Archons, and Titans obsolete, with the Imperium having more mobile Forces.

As the war draws into a stalemate between pushing, and getting pushed, the Templar council decided to commission All of the available Forges to develop a low profile, Agile, whilst still carrying The 400mm Ark Cannon, the A400T, Endeavor was named "Project Zero Hour"

On the day of the deadline, only Forges: Apex, Carius, and Feros were the only ones able to present a functioning Tank, the first to present was Forge Carius - Forge Carius' tank was turretless, but was very low profile, and can be manned by a single person, The Templar Appraised the tank, but did not meet the Criterion, perhaps for defense, it may be useful, but defense is not what they needed.

Next is Forge Feros, Forge Feros' Tank was very promising, it had a turret, it was decently low profile, and was fast, but was very weakly defended, the Templar appraised the Tank, and there was a high chance it would be chosen.

Last to present was Forge Apex, Forge Apex' Tank was very low profile, moderately fast, but stable, but what made it unique was the not the speed, it used a special new form of Kinetic armor, called the "High Velocity Kinetic Shield" or Havoks for ease or pronunciation.

It was a close match, but the Lynx PT-B was chosen as the new Main Battle Tank for the Tellurian Ån'zehr Ih'wizion, or Panzer Division if written in English, about 1000 were ordered immediately, and many were sent to the frontlines, where the Havoks protection were instantly very effective, none of the enemy anti tank rounds could penetrate the tank from the front, and because of it's low profile, even shooting it from the side was difficult, and it also aided in sneak attacks, and dug in positions, in just about a month after the arrival of the Lynx to the frontline, the Imperium were pushed back very far.
