M-106 now has brand new VR-cockpit made in symbiosis of simplicity and retro-futuristic style. That is why this particular M-106 wears ISLAS special livery called “Reimagined flyer” and named after great designer Eero Saarinen.
Saarinen was a Finnish-American architect and industrial designer who created a wide array of innovative designs for buildings and monuments, including the passenger terminal at Dulles International Airport outside Washington, D.C., the TWA Flight Center at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
This aircraft in general is named after Lyudmila Markovna Gurchenko (informal – Lucia, 1935 – 2011) was a popular Soviet and Russian actress, singer and entertainer.
