Introduction:

The F-16, code name Fighting Falcon, is a United States Air Force jet multi-role fighter.
The F-16 is a single-seat, single-engine, third-generation or third-and-a-half generation American fighter aircraft, and is one of the most successful fighters in the world. The fighter was optimized for the Vietnam War air combat experience and was the first U.S. fighter capable of 9G overload maneuvers and one of the first to use fly-by-wire flight controls and ergonomic cockpits. It was also one of the first fighters in the U.S. to adopt fly-by-wire controls and an ergonomic cockpit. In addition, it was designed with reference to the "Energy Maneuvering Theory", with high thrust-to-weight ratios and low wing loading. Since the F-16A/B Block 15 series, the F-16 has been improved to be a multi-purpose fighter, with the ability to fight at night and launch air-to-ground missiles, anti-ship missiles, and other opposite strike capabilities.

The F-16 fighter was developed by General Dynamics in the 1970s, and with the F-15 fighter was one of the mainstay aircraft of the USAF in the 1980s and 1990s. Mass production began in 1976, a total of nearly 4,600 units were produced and sold to nearly 30 countries and regions, and its production exceeded the total number of airplanes of the majority of national air forces; it has participated in almost all large-scale wars since the Bekaa Valley air war in 1981, and its performance has stood the test of actual combat.
