SA MQ-45 "Bushtit"

3,862 SangerAircraft  6.9 years ago

The SAircraft SA MQ-45 Bushtit is a small tiltrotor UAV designed for ground attack, light reconaissance and surveillance missions. It can takeoff and land on nearly any surface, annihilate ground targets with its Gatling gun, rockets and inferno missiles, survey the battlefield, and even, in future variations, deliver cargo, all while people laugh at its completely normal name that follows the tradition of naming planes after birds, for some reason.

CONTROLS:
This thing is a little hard to get used to, but once you have the hang of it, it is easy to operate.

VTOL: adjust rotor angle
AG1: lights
AG8: gyroscope

To fly, throttle up to around 40%(37-38 is the optimal hover amount) and gradually adjust the rotors forward(VTOL up) while holding pitch. Once the plane has gotten up to speed, turn the gyroscope off(AG8) and keep the rotors at a 45 degree angle for forward flight. You can turn the gyroscope back on if you find flight without it too difficult. To slow down and land, turn the rotors backwards(VTOL down) and reduce throttle to about 35%. Return the rotors to the default position and slowly land the plane.

Enjoy!
