Yak-9K Noka
trying to get back into the flow of things, I read that sr2 is coming to android, so getting my skills sharp ready for when that comes out
this is a fun plane, there's a cannon armed with boom25's each hooked up to a light that acts like a tracer. There's also a built in recoil system that'll shake you around in your cockpit seat. Trying to snipe fighters with this thing is a blast
Russians had little use for interceptors, but its hard to resist the urge to see how big a cannon you can mount on a fighter. The NS-45 cannon would shake the aircraft so hard oil leaks would spring. Firing a burst was considered inaccurate, so Russian pilots would just fire them single shot against German He111's or ju88's. They only needed one hit.

Outstanding build as always! I still have your La-5 saved to! :P
I was humming them when I was browsing for airplanes! Lol@Tengam
Listening to my gaming playlist (mostly the War Thunder soundtracks) while flying this. It fits so well!
Make a dauntless a p40 and a hurricane
@CCCP lol
This build, as with all your builds, is the epitome of of excellence. Accurate shape, cool features and it even flies quite nicely!
The cockpit is so cool! Great job.
Long time no see lad, how's it going?
Nice to see you back dude.
Or 4 1850hp Shvetsov Ash-82 radial engines @Weaverfish
I thought you died, nice to see you again
4 engines of 1340hp each (all these specs are for the Pe-8)
@Weaverfish
Stronk
Here are the specs that I found: Maximum speed: 443 km/h (275.2 mph)
Range: 3,700 km (2,299 mi)
Service ceiling: 9,300 m (30,504 ft)
Rate of climb: 5.9 m/s (1,154 ft/min)
Wing loading: 143 kg/m² (29 lb/ft²)
Power/mass: 140 W/kg (0.2 hp/lb)
@Weaverfish
As in like, the explosives of that bomb weigh more than this plane, even without the metal casing
Pe-8 and TB-3 (although the TB-3 is arguably pre WW2). The Pe-8 can also carry a 5000kg bomb (as in like, 11023lbs of bomb, in one single bomb[ about 7,100lbs of which were explosives{or 3200kg}]) @Weaverfish
@FgFg while I'm here, do you know of any russian 4 engined ww2 bombers?
And yes comrade, it is not needed for to destroy enemies of state
The 45 was also found on the -9UT (I'm sorry)
@FgFg yeah! but ya know, you don't need it on this ;) That's already on my mig-3
Oh, and I do believe that the Yaks also had a 12.7mm as a secondary, although I might be wrong there @Weaverfish
No problem! @Weaverfish
@FgFg oh yeah thanks
Wasn’t the the 45 on the Yak-9K and -9TK? Amazing plane though!
