96 Parts Challenge ENTRY (Convair 580)

Auto Credit Based on WinsWings's 96 Parts Challenge 9.20.23 [CLOSED]

This is my submission for WinsWing’s 96 Part build challenge: A simplified Convair CV580. The CV-580 was a member of the CV240 family of regional propeller planes. The initial prototype first flew in 1947. The CV580 was one of the later models, which upgraded from 2 Pratt & Whitney R2800 Double Wasp Radial engines to 2 Allison 501 Turboprops. The CV240 family is actually a pretty large family of aircraft, with around a dozen different variants designed for either civilian or military use.

This is obviously a simplistic replica, and it was built within the 96-part limit, as per the challenge. Now, critically, it has 7 individual wings, when the challenge requests to keep it under 6, but when I was doing the flaps, I discover that if I kept them on the same functional wing as the ailerons, when extended, the aircraft would become virtually impossible to control in the pitch axis (It wouldn’t stop pitching up, even with full nose down inputs). Use VTOL Down to deploy flaps, and AG8 to turn on/off the engines.

I may do a more complicated version of this in future. Tell me if you would like that

Enjoy!

@MrCOPTY But it says "If possible", what is that meant to mean?. For me I had little choice, as it would have rendered the aircraft uncontrollable with flaps extended. I disabled the wing physics on the wings with the flaps as well, so they wouldn't have an impact on the flight performance. If I need to remove the wings, I would have to remove the flaps, which if I need to, I will do. I'll tag @WinsWings to see what he meant

@ZacOnTrack Did It Have 7 Wings? Max Wings Count Is 6, Read 3rd Rule

    3) If possible, limit your wings to 6 wings max, but you can have more control surfaces.

@MrCOPTY Does it matter that much there are 7 individual wings?
