Description

This is my first recreation of a lightsaber of Star Wars. It's not as accurate and "realistic" as I wanted, but it's worth to upload. The color of the blade is the classic blue. It doesn't move nor fly.

Actions(Activation groups):

Change color of the blade:

In order to change the color, just go into the building place, click on the paint job, then choose the color you want and put it in the box located in the right side (blue by default).

How I made it (Building process):

The body of the lightsaber was very easy to build, just using cylinders, blocks... The tricky part was the laser blade. The only thing viable in order to make a decent bright blade was to put a lot of white beacon lights, without the halo, surronding another central beacon light, which gives the color of the blade and produces the coloured halo. This way, the blade looks pretty similar to the one the films, with the center of the blade white and the coloured halo. Otherwise, this appeareance wouldn't be possible, because this is the only way that I found to make it work.

I'm aware that the coloured halo is almost unnoticeable, this is due to the scalated beacon lights that I used, that makes the halo very weak, but in dark places the halo brights enough and can be seen easily.

Despite all its issues, I think is a decent design. Hope you like it too!
