Through hardship to stars!
General Info
Origin: Nation, 7th Meridian - Jericho
Designation: Bayette R&D, project 17, VSH-serie, 2nd model upgraded to 5th, early variant, Frontline assault modifications.
Type: Air based, Close Air Support/Bomber Unit, 1st (-Basic-) technological tier
Class: Frontline Bomber/Gunship Hybrid Aircraft
Nickname: Orca
Role: Frontline assault/Cannon-fodder
"Orca" is one of the newest designs in 7th Meridian arsenal. It was derived from a T2 Gunship project by modifications over main body shape, size, energy, propulsion, fuel, radar/sonar and weapon systems, everything in order to get a versatile design that will fit the close air support niche and still would be built pretty fast even with not-so-technological equipment.
On battlefield, BA-17-VSH2/5(l)-F, also known as "Orca", relies on high, for it's class, manouverability, thrust to weight ratio and great durability. It's advantages makes it into a good escort for more advanced naval or air units when used in numbers and decent raider for early assaults on material processing stations and other logistical objects on the battlefield.
It's main disadvantages are low top speed, high materials cost, low operational range, very limited payload and limited effectiveness as a standalone design.
Orca's defensive capabilities is represented by a countermeasure system with very limited ammunition, as for offensive systems it sports an internally mounted pulse laser gun which can be used against all possible targets, be it an air or surface based and few dumb-fire bombs with chemical warhead or proton torpedo in bomb bay.
Controls
Normal plane controls
VTOL - Flaps configuration
AG1 - VTOL mode
AG1+AG8 - VTOL control mode switch
When AG1 is on :
Normal plane controls
TRIM - jet nozzles rotation
When AG1+AG8 is on :
Pitch - Traverse and reverse
Roll - Strafe t the sides
Yaw - waY
TRIM - Altitude control
Throttle - N/A
- Max speed and manouverability drastically vary in different flap configurations
- In AG1+AG8 VTOL mode all the horizontal and vertical speeds gets terminated without corresponding input
- In manual (AG1 only) mode you need approximately 80-85% of throttle for lift off
- Also when AG1 is active you get vertical speed limiter, it active when below 8 meters (above ground level) and on 75% throttle and less (depending on remaining fuel)
- VTOL all way up disengages turret, but bomb-bay is always operational
- Max firing range for turret is about 2400 meters
- Turret have auto-aim and can traverse 5 degrees to the sides and elevates from - 49 to +5
- Proton torpedo, dispersik, max range is 7000 meters, launch it at naval targets from 50-100 m height in horizontal flight.
- A bunch of cameras, including first person with basic HUD
- Most parts de-dragged, lotta less lag
- Craft instructions existance confirmed

Thanks everyone for download, spotlights and upvotes
Have Fun!
but not so much, not yet...

i’ve seen this b4
Zoggin' bootiful!
I use the same method with my posts. Honestly I wish this feature was a thing for forums too
@xNotDumb It's not quick, lol. I'm sure what they did was upload it first unlisted, then edited the description of the unlisted post with the description you see, and then published the unlisted post when they're done.
@Grob0s0VBRa How to write such long descriptions very quickly?
@Grob0s0VBRa np:)
