AD-8-A1 "Azura" (Contra-Rotating proppelers)
The AD-8-A1 "Azura" is an american twin engined, contra-rotating propeller naval fighter/bomber for the US Navy betwen the1960s and 80s. It can carry a multitude of weapons including AA and AG missles, while also moving at extremely high speeds for proppeler aircraft. Comes standard with 2 30mm fully automatic cannons that can destroy basically any plane, IFV or LAV if encounters. Its max speed at sea level is around 960 Kph and on a dive, around 1050 Kph.
Development: Developed by Northrop Grumman in the late 1950s, the Azura (originally called Reclaimer) was supposed to be a supersonic jet interceptor, but when that role was filled out by the F100D, the aircraft suffered a huge redesign that replaced the jets with the engines we see today. During the Vietnam War, the Azura fleet of aircraft was used in conjunction with the F105s and AD4s. Nowadays, this aircraft is still operated by multiple nations.
Controls: Standard plane controls.
Note: This flies really well. If you want, strip it down and use it as a race plane.
