One of my Warplanes - Russian Baltic Navy Merchant Attacker.
The Russian strategy of overwhelming numbers is well illustrated in the Ilyushin; a cheap, rugged aircraft produced in astronomical figures to aid the Red Army in the ground-attack role. This navy variant was a specialised design - Armed with NS-45 cannons, It hunted down blockade runner merchants in the Baltic Sea.
P I L O T S - N O T E S
Full working NS-45 cannons (8 rounds)
CAM1 - Cockpit.
ACT 1, 2, 3, 4 - Fires 45mm Cannon rounds. Aimed using the reflector sight - the centre horizontal bars are the main sight, while the low horizontal bars have been scoped in for 1 mile distance shots.
ACT 8 - VTOL down for the wing flaps, for carrier use.
In-game stats for nerds - Il-2m3 Sturmovik, 1750hp Mikulin, 14,000lbs, 144gal located under & behind cockpit, 250mph. Armed with 2x45mm NS-45 Heavy Cannon w/4 rounds (The genuine thing had 30), Red anti-shipping bolts. Also armed with 2x7.62mm ShKAS w/750rounds, Soviet cyan tracers.

Fantastic replica, runs like the real deal. It even shakes the plane when you fire the tank-busters (or in this case merchant-busters)
