My First Delta-Wing Plane!
The SP Aircraft SP-35-100 (Air superiority Fighter Version)
Lore
Since its release, the SP-25 was kind of out of date. The sells were low and it was not very cheap to produce a plane that old. So the development for a successor began. After a long time, it became unclear what wing shape should be used. We started Development on 2 Prototypes, 1 with Delta Wings and 1 with Swing Wings. After many hours of (partly combat-) Testing it became very clear that the Delta wing prototype has better handling and can transport a bigger payload and should go into production. The SP-35-100’s (the Fighter Variant’s) biggest issue was its Lack of firepower. Two cannon pods were installed on the SP-35-100, each equipped with a 320-Round 20mm Autocannon in a successful attempt to get cannons on the Aircraft. The Plane itself is the most maneuverable out of all three variants and it’s intended to serve as an Air superiority fighter. The M26A10 minigun achieves a very high firerate and accuracy but needs good aim to hit it‘s targets.
This Is the SP-35-100, our first plane with delta-wings.
Info Before you fly this beast:
for normal flights and landings, the maximum recommended VTOL Slider setting is down/up to the first line. If you bring it all the way to the top, you do a loop downwards probably (I didn’t test that) or if you bring it all the way up with a speed of 900 kph or more, you’ll turn upwards instantly.
Activation Groups:
1: Open Canopies
2: Jettison all weapons
3: None
4: Arresting Hook
