This is another STOL transport aircraft concept by Armstrong Whitworth. Unfortunately there is very little to go off (on the internet anyway) what it would have looked like. In fact there’s very little of it at all. I found a tantalising drawing from an aircraft magazine circa 1960s that I based the rough shape around. Other than that, merely a footnote exists it seems with reference to a design to match OR.351.
The design it seems was scrapped in favour of the AW681, itself being scraped a little while later. I’m sure if development had gone ahead BOAC would have taken an interest in the type as a ‘cargo-liner’ and hence this livery.
Wings are a little rough around the edges as on iOS there’s no way to fine tune the fine tuner when rotating parts along xyz axis. If anyone knows different I’m all ears!

Tell me about it. You should have seen it before i added numerous bits to increase the rate of roll! She’s a fat bird I’ll give you that! @ChiChiWerx
Nice build, looks good, but you really need to plan your roll ins and roll outs!
Cool!!!!!
@GhostHTX Nice Job!
Thanks mate, I take it you’ll be watching the match against the argies? I quite like how Scotland are playing these days! @GhostHTX
Youve outdone yourself! In a good way! This is quite wonderful - I love the landing gear especially, and I see what you mean about trim. All in all lovely stuff, as Shakin Stevens was want to say.
PS. The trim is most definitely not inverted. It is the right way around.
Thanks buddy, very kind of you to say! @Trainzo
Much appreciated guys, thank you all! @EternalDarkness @Avro683Lancaster @CursedFlames
I love It . Great jod friend . The decoration is beautiful. Hat low .
@Tang0five and its i guess you would say un-normal then. at least when i downloaded it. dont worry was able to rectify the stitch
Is it? I generally thought the trim wheel should follow the control stick? @SelectAKey
Funny you should mention the argosy. Shortly after starting this game I started building one. For whatever reason my interest in the build waned and it was left half built until I eventually deleted it as part of a clear up of my SPs. @8bitgamer33
@Tang0five but once again another plane where trim is inverted. uno momento
Cheers! @tylerdeveneuxmusic glad to see you around!
Your too kind, thank you! @SelectAKey
You can see it on the trim slider on the side of the screenshot but I don’t know how that function translates from iOS to pc I’m afraid. @8bitgamer33
this deserves praise before download. good job
Thank you! @Gauss
Thank you, I like taxing about like that it’s a little more realistic! There is no evidence there would have been contra rotating props but I thought it would suffice to increase performance! @8bitgamer33
@Tang0five Good. I like the separate engine controls. I think you should try an AW.650/660 Argosy next.
Good
Aside from a incorrect digit in the description, what did you think of the actual build itself? @8bitgamer33
