INFO:

During the cold war, modern technology for tanks was hitting the world by storm, it was time for all countries to step up their competition. Unlike many other nations, Sweden took a different approach to making their MBT. It was well known that if a regular general role tank has it’s turret decapacitated, the whole tank would become obsolete and un-operational, so, what if there was no turret? It would significantly reduce weight, budget, and increase survivability (with a 337mm plate in the front and 192mm for the sides and back) . In the end, the odd, yet clever design was complete, and later on, modernized. It was soon nicknamed the S-Tank for it's unique design. The tank was in service from 1962 to 1997, and served as a main battle tank for Sweden. There are some in museums, as well as others being used for training vehicles today.

@CRJ900Pilot Traverse and driving speed is insanely fast, as well as one of the most flexible suspension systems of it's time, it was even boasted that there was slightly better performance than the M-18 and the M-46

@CRJ900Pilot The design used suspension to elevate/depress the gun, if you wanted to move the gun you needed to move the whole tank.

Really want this thing just because of its tracks. I mean in World of Tanks.
The Kranvagen also is a solid autoloader with decent armor.
