Skiplane
26.9k Sunnyskies
8.6 years ago
Designed to handle landing in austere environments. The skis allow it to land on dirt, sand, and snow just fine. Gameplay-wise, the skiplane is ideal for making short landings thanks to the inherent friction the skis have. It can glide semi-decently allowing you to make slow approaches and soft landings. The shocks will bust if you slam the plane into the ground really hard, and the skis will disintegrate if they touch the ground any faster than 200 mph, so don't do that. Touch the ground slow and gently. The landing gear wheels are there to help you steer and take off only. You should keep them retracted for landings.
