AH-1G HueyCobra V1.0
Bell AH-1G HueyCobra
For SimplePlanes
Country of Origin: United States
Role: Attack Helicopter
Crew: 2
Livery: Special US Army D Troop, 3rd BDE, 4th Cav. Reg.
Developed from the UH-1 Huey, the AH-1G HueyCobra was an attack helicopter that could escort Hueys and provide close air support and aerial rocket artillery for ground forces. However, its development was initially troubled with disagreements between the US Army and Air Force, who argued that the Army would be taking on a task for the Air Force by operating a dedicated close air support platform. The AH-1G features an M28 turret, which can be configured with 2x 7.62mm M134 Miniguns, 2x M129 40mm grenade launchers, or one of each.
The AH-1G was developed for the US Army, but later variants of the Cobra would be used by other nations, including Japan, the Philippines, South Korea, and Thailand. The US Army no longer operate the AH-1 Cobra, but the Florida Department of Forestry and US Forest Service still use the AH-1. Read more...

Author's Notes
- Fuel and gun ammo is unlimited.
- The turret is automatically controlled using SenSkysh’s auto aim FT.
- The gunner will track targets within 2km.
- Use the cyclic pitch trim to maintain a 30-40 degree AOA when cruising.
- If you want more stability, change the tail rotor to heading hold instead of rate. Although, this is probably less realistic.

Hey, I added a Cockpit to this thing... You might wanna check it out... Also, my version is a but weird, but since it's my first cockpit, I'd say that I'm proud of it?
@MrCOPTY its just a link to Wikipedia
@ReinMcDeer How To Make READ MORE/LESS.
@ReinMcDeer yeah i was talking abt the bulge
@PriyanshuGM if you mean how it bulges out, US cobras are like this. I know international variants have squared off canopies
The canopy kinda looks weird idk if the real heli was like this too or is it only in ur build
@ReinMcDeer
true
oh well there's nothing we can do about it
@ZeroWithSlashedO ¯_(ツ)_/¯
now that im looking at it their tails look almost the same but thats it
@ReinMcDeer
interesting
still though, why? Like, dude, it looks nothing like a huey
@ZeroWithSlashedO Initial variants were known as the HueyCobra. I'm guessing it's because they share the same engine, transmission, and rotor system
thing has huey in it's name, wtf?
Good. You're finally awake. What? You're tired of working a 9 to 5? Enough nonsense. Get in your cobra. Time to hit the jungle.
