Auto Credit Based on Protoflight's Ec135
This is a Eurocopter EC135. The contols are explained in game, once you load the helicopter.
I normally only play SimpleRockets, so this is my first SimplePlanes build, since I wanted to build a helicopter. Don’t have to high expectations :)

The next version will include:
-Improved flight dynamics
-Improved VR cockpit capability (suggested by AndrewGarrison)
-Improved Interior and Exterior details and functionality
Please leave other suggestions below
Many people have rightfully complained about the problematic flight dynamics, especially the turning of the craft while hovering. This problem will be fixed in the next version. If you already want to fix it right now, so that you can fully enjoy flying the craft, then follow this guide:
-Chose the main rotor
-Enter Overload
-Click on “Part” and scroll down to “RotorPerfScalars” with the grey bar on the right
-Set “CollectiveTorque” and “CyclicMotorDragTorque” to 0
-Done
Very bad, it spins when its taking off
Build the zetatech valgus
@Protoflight Wait never mind I messed up sorry
@AC13OU Yes sure, as log as the craft is a successor to this post I don’t mind. Good luck 👍🏻
Hey, do you mind if I upload this as a UH-72A? Let me know.
是老穿山甲了@Beifenglenglong
I commend the cool but lacking one point, it flies up, it flies up, there is a problem, it revolves around it
对啊@Beifenglenglong
Thank you, I’ll try it @Protoflight
@Soardivision160th Yes I do use IOS. First you take three screenshots and use a drawing app or similar to combine them into one big picture. Then you chose a blueprint view, for example the top view, and insert the picture. When you upload your craft, be sure to be in this orientation, then you can resize the camera and take pictures of the blueprint. I hope this helps
Hey buddy, nice helo, I wanted to ask a question, you use an IOS correct? If so, how did you get the background of the wright airport, I thought only PCs and Androids could do that, I’d like to learn how to do that.
@Protoflight Thanks a lot! I’m beginning to understand the issue. Keep up the good work. The model is spot on otherwise. I used to have an EC-135 fly overhead on takeoff and final approach at least four times a day when I lived right next to hospital. 😉
@Krikkit42 I will try to fix this issue in the next version. After takeoff, the main rotor creates a strong rotational moment, but I don’t know how to reduce the torque in the xml settings. In flight this issue isn’t as noticeable, and you can counteract it with the Trim settings on the right lever
Great build! But either I’m missing something or my download is broken: As soon as I start to hover, I go into a full-on tailspin. What am I doing wrong? Please help. Not a helo expert, but I do believe I get the basic principle.
Cool, thanksl It would be cool if rotors did that!
@TheAviationBoy I actually used the Aerofly model as reference while building, but I don’t think the blades of the SimplePlanes rotor bend. They do simulate the momentum in the blades like in Aerofly though, so you can do autorotation etc, where the rotor rpm’s rise when flying downward without power
Question: do the rotors bend like in Aerofly 2020 when you break the engines?
As a pilot in training who never gets any down time, this Eurocopter is exactly what I was looking for, thanks 👍
god damn nice eurocopter
@AndrewGarrison
Just not only that
It's mobile friendly too
It's a good plane my guy
Thank you all for the positive feedback
This is a great build and it works well in VR. The only thing that is missing for a good VR experience is a slider/lever in the cockpit to increase engine throttle.
