SO MANY WIRES!

This one was finished a few months ago, But I haven't uploaded it (Or anything else) since I was completely demoralized by the amount of work I put into the Voisin III I made that seemed to be completely ignored...
Anyway

HOW TO FLY
The caudron G.3 is relatively easy to fly, it is a stable plane but you must remember the weird yaw characteristics and the engine.

The yaw control pulls the nose up for some reason and this coupled with the low flying speed can end up making you stall, so basically try not to use yaw.

On this plane I am trying a new rotary engine control system.
Start the engine with Activation Group 1, Throttle is normal but you can still blip the engine by turning it off ad on with 1 allowing for better deceleration.

HISTORY

The Caudron was extensively used in the early years of WWI as a reconnaissance plane, its stability made taking good aerial photographs easier. However this stability made it an easy target for fighters and it was relatively defenseless by late 1915 being withdrawn from French service in mid 1916. It was however used for reconnaissance by the Italians and British until 1917. After it was retired from frontline duties it was used as a trainer and continued in this role until the 1930s in some places.

In 1921 Adrienne Bolland, a Caudron test pilot, became the first woman to fly across the Andes after flying a G3 from Argentina to Chile.

ENJOY!
