FX-41 Arcturus

4,081 CMS1288  9.2 years ago
Auto Credit Based on CMS1288's FA-41 Arcturus (Prototype II)

Introducing the combat-ready iteration of the next generation of extreme G fighters.

The FX-41 is simply the most maneuverable aircraft in the sky- using the latest CFD wing profiling and active thrust vectoring. Agility is also achieved by optimizing the aircraft balance, allowing the pilot to fly without constant pressure on the stick. The Arcturus turns so quickly that a new breed of G-suit had to be designed special.

Engines are highly efficient turbofans with optimized CFD blade profiles again to extend range and powe?????????????r; the jet can reach Mach 1.5. Stealth is enhanced throughout the aircraft with inlet and exhaust design plus slender body contours. Stability is second to none with a near stall speed of under 100 mph- therefore it is able to land on a carrier easily.

The FX-41 is equipped with two missiles and fuel tank.
VTOL down= weopons bay ready 1,2= missile 1 and 2, respectively. 3= jettison fuel tank.

Thanks for looking!

Your bomb doors are one of those - "how has no one thought of this beforebefore" - ideas. Plane flies very nice as well.

Thank you so much! I ran many permutations of trying to create a weapons bay with a sleek look, and ended up with this. Unfortunately the detacher, rotator, and structural panels are rather large which makes it difficult. Plus certain pieces like to stitch together randomly when mirroring. Be aware if you mirror this aircraft, the weapon bay doors may lock in place. Removing the doors and manually re-attaching them to the rotator gets it working again. I hope we have a weapons/parts update soon! @JShay

Wow! Even better than the last. I love the weapons bay door idea! Never seen one like that before, but genius! Well done. I'm happy to be following you now.
