It's about time that I remake the skyraider, idk why it took me until now but yeah. Coincidentally it's also part of a challenge, like the old one, how fun. It'll probably not win like the old one but eh, anyways.... enjoy or:

Skyraider

The SF-12F is a modification of the existing SF-12E's that were in service before. It is the last variant used by WRAF before it's retirement in 1978. The SF-12 "skyraider" is a carrier based, twin engine, single seat multirole fighter used by the WRAN and its allies from 1958-2003. Since it was comparatively cheaper than other designs, it became the workhorse of the WRAN until it's replacement by the well known SF-24. A unit costs around 210,000$ because inflation is different in this universe

Some buttons/switches are for decoration, most are marked with labels so it would be quite easy to know what they do

Also there is a bar you can "grab" (press) to launch the catapult on the carrier

As you can see it barely resembles the old one at all, mainly because the old ones were absolute fucking shit. The color scheme incorporates elements of the old designs (mainly orange and blue) and the hardpoint layout remains the same, tail extension was removed. I'd say it more closely resembles the second iteration

Important notes:

Some of the buttons and gauges are non functional
going 100% throttle with AB locked will kill engines
A hard landing on low physics may cause front gear to go haywire
The landing hook I used as a catapult connector may occasionally catch the wires
No ejection seat because cockpit went limp when I added ejection mechanism
I modified the XML of this thing 2 times because I forgot a few important stuff but we don't talk about that
The fuel tanks are there for decoration only, although it does slightly turn tighter when they are dropped.
