TIE Fighter Rate Control
Read descriptions and try it please
A weird funky tree experiment that resulted in an extremely weird control scheme. I am not sure if it is better than the original.
What do I mean by "Rate Control"?
So instead of using "pitch" and "roll" for the control input, I decided to use the "rate(pitch)" and "rate(roll)" for the control input. This resulted in behavior that is similar to first-person shooter games which is very weird. A pilot may have to repeatedly right-click or disable input to reset the mouse to center so that the pilot can drag again.
How to use
Take off as usual.
For PC users, go to the cockpit and use the mouse as a joystick. Then pilot the plane as you aim in first-person shooters. It may take some time to get used to. But you may find it very easy to gun other planes since it is easy to get perfect tracking.
Activate 1 for camera control on mobile
For mobile users, go to the cockpit and Activate 1. Then pilot the plane as you aim in first-person shooters on mobile. Or in other words, look around and see how the plane behaves. You may need to disengage Activate 1 and use the recenter camera to reset control (or just recenter camera since mobile behave differently)
For VR users, the right stick behaves like motion aiming with PS4 or PS5 controllers (but with Pitch axis flipped). The left stick now controls roll and throttle. To reset, simply release the control stick and re-grab the stick. Just be aware of the vibration due to VR hand-tracking limitations.
Hope you enjoy?

@Ownedpilot no problem. Interesting work.
@SuperSuperTheSylph @Zaineman I think I have created something that is not supposed to work. Yet it does.
@WinsWings Sorry for bugging you. This is just an experiment, not the official entry. But I hope you give it a try since it is weird.
