Background info:
During a war in the 2050s, the United States of America required a vehicle more manouverable than large, bulky tanks, yet still having superior power to the tanks of the enemy. Tanks, being tanks, could not fit this role. Neither could exosuit mechs, the first bipedal, human-operated walkers, as they were weak against heavy fire. Large mechs had not been developed at the time, but the AMC launched a series of tread-mechs. They proved quite powerful and often had twice the firepower of normal main battle heavy tanks. Following the success, the PTM-150 was built soon after large walkers were invented. It is capable of using mech weapons, which were more powerful, unlike their older 2050s counterparts. A heavy armored plate can be fitted on the super-strong frame at the front, defending against most weapons.
