Little Joyrider

How can an abandoned concept be reborn? Well, we have the recipe for that. First, you need to throw out the few test product prototypes to the market and see how people, especially tuners are going crazy for it. Then you need to convince many shareholders to see your project profitable. This was the hard part because those guys usually don't understand anything just profit, stocks, and boring business things. And lastly, you need to make your concept fall through the road safety inspections as well. It was a tough nut to crack, but after 3 years of negotiations, we could bring your favorite microcar, the Quark, back to life.

Well, first of all, we had to renew the collision zones to match the regulations, which means we had to sacrifice some design elements, to make room for more safety. But if you look at the result, the Quark remained that lovely little car that everybody loves. Some less crucial parts of the chassis are made out of duroplast, a cheap but sturdy light material that was occasionally used in the car industry worldwide. Using this material allowed us to stay within the production budget, which means the Quark can have a much more appealing price tag. But the relatively slim production budget still allowed us to insert a few
convenience functions like electric Windows and a basic car stereo System.

The engine displacement comes from an unused motorcycle project, with a little refresh. This means 2 cylinders, 500CC, and whooping 26hp under the tiny hood.
This sounds not that much but thanks to the light materials this midget car still can reach 140km/h (in a greased ravine with backwind)This may change depending on the number of passengers, which technically could be 4, but I don think anybody over the age 12 could sit at the back.

A perfect choice for you

If you have a limited budget just like we had during production but you need a reliable commuter in the city.
Or if you want some little Myrone experience in a car that is just somewhat bigger than a flower crate.
Or if you dare to create extreme track day monsters and you need something ultra light.
