Hercules (Pirate Sloop of War)
PLEASE READ BEFORE SAILING
FEATURES
Wind powered sailing
Improved Cannons
Improved sailing instrument
Cannon shots now affect other aircraft/player builds
This marks the beginning of your Pirate career. You’ve successfully convinced the crew to rally behind you and maroon the old captain, leaving you the proud new owner of a lovely little Sloop of War.
This new model features cannons that level themselves from -15 degrees to 15. Basically at all times they’ll be level. No more needing to adjust angle manually, just fire and forget. Pirating has never been easier! You won’t find a more user friendly ship to take out any enemy boats in multiplayer :^)
HOW TO SAIL
When starting it might seem like it’s sinking/half underwater but it will soon pick itself up. Set yourself a wind direction that you like (forward first is best), this ship works comfortably inbetween 70-110 mph winds.
TRIM Angles the main sails
THROTTLE packs up the main sails
There is a 1st person sailing camera which I encourage you to try out. Next to the wheel is a handy sailing instrument. There is also a custom chase camera, you can change the direction of this camera using VTOL.
THE HANDY SAILING INSTRUMENT
This version of the wind indicator is more reliable however it still doesn’t follow wind direction as strictly as I would like.
Now on how the sailing works. generally you want to keep the WHITE wind indicator behind the black mast indicator. You can rotate the masts to suit wind and direction, rotation shows on instrument too. Once the wind direction goes past the mast angle, you must throttle up and close the masts to continue sailing, or else the main sails will pull you backwards/slow you down. The RED dead zone is the area you should keep out of angling yourself into, an area in which you will only lose speed.
THE CANNONS
These cannon each have 3 shots loaded up.
Right side cannons use AG1,2,3
Left side canons use AG 5,6,7
Each Activation button has a full broadside stocked. Select a button on you want, then hold down fireWeapon to unload the broadside available to that button. You could just activate them all but I’d ask you do one at a time :)

This looks butiful
@Rub3n213 would you mind if I used this build to replicate the black Pearl from pirates of the Caribbean and post it? all credit will go to you
@Rub3n213 no problem!
Thank you! Thanks for the pearl too I didn’t think that wind sailing was possible or even plausible. @Kimcotupan15
This looks nice, taking inspirations from my Pearl, also you strapped cannons on this. You did a great job!
Yes!! @EliteArsenals24
Now all it needs is to find the brown pearl and have a legendary duel.
@Rub3n213 well actually it's a frigate I believe. Also if you need me to XML edit the health of some blocks let me know
That’s a great idea. The jackdaw isn’t even much different from this might be able to pull it together with about 700-800 parts@Roswell
Very lovely ship.
You should make some ships from Assassin's Creed Black Flag.
Very nice !
