The F-02 is a heavy interceptor developed to fill in the role in which the F-01 lacks the capabilities to.
The aircraft is a twin engine, tandem seat arrangement with variable geometry wings (retractable canards on later models), and large, straight intakes placed separate from the main fuselage to get the most of the unobstructed air, each powering two powerful turbojet engines. It's large size made it cumbersome on low speed handling but is offset by it's superior level flight performance compared to the F-01.

Later models incorporate avionics/fuel hump with capabilities to carry the newer heavyweight missiles. In addition to help during landing and low speed stability, retractable canard is added which retracts when the aircraft exceeds 505kmh.

AG1 activates the weapons systems allowing you to fire radar guided missiles, or heat seeking missiles. In addition, the aircraft has a 25mm gatling gun.

AG5 lowers arresting hook on compatible versions.

AG6 jettison stores.

AG7 activates wing oversweep mechanism for storage.

VTOL slider controls the flaps and the trim slider controls the aircraft trim.

The aircraft is able to fly well over 1500kmh at sea level.

Note:
Takeoff procedure: VTOL slider halfway down with trim full up, maintain positive attitude before raising gear.
Landing procedure: VTOL slider full down, trim to keep nose up attitude. Try not to fly lower than 300kmh.
