Background
Federation
The GBU-76/C Gigantic Ordnance Air Blast (commonly known as "God of All Bombs") is a large-yield bomb, developed for the Royal Federation Airforce proposed by Walter A. Krauch. At the time of development, it was said to be the most powerful non-nuclear weapon in the Federation arsenal. The bomb is designed to be delivered by a C-150 Guardian, B-22 Valka, B-55 Sky Castle, B-1 Valor and other medium and heavy bombers.
The GOAB is not a penetrator weapon and is primarily used as an air burst ordnance intended for the destruction of soft to medium surface targets covering large areas and targets in a contained environment. However, high altitude carpet-bombing with much smaller 500 to 2,000lb bombs delivered is also highly effective at covering large areas.

The US actually used one of these as recently as 2015 to destroy a series of tunnels in Afghanistan. I would image that being any ware just outside its blast would turn you into red mush.
